On February Break I went to Palm Springs, California U.S.A. My whole family went. Me, My 2 brothers, and my mom and dad. At the condo we were staying at there was a pool and we went in it the first 10 minutes we got there. Also we could walk to a doughnut shop. Which had the best doughnuts EVER! We went swimming every day. On the Sunday we drove to LegoLand. We left at 7:00 am and got there at about 11:00 am. The drive was very windy at times but the scenery was BEAUTIFUL! At LegoLand we went on almost all the rides. Our favorite was Techno Test Track. Why is because it had a huge drop. Sadly we had to leave Monday night. For supper we went to the closest Olive Garden. It was so good! I hope you enjoyed reading my journey to Palm Springs!

Long ago in a city far,far away there was a polite girl named Natalie. Natalie’s family went to Palm Springs. In Palm Springs there was a place called LegoLand. In LegoLand everything was made out of Lego. When someone walks into this amusement park they immediately turn into a Lego person, but many people are not warned like Natalie’s family so they go in and they are always Lego. Natalie’s family went into LegoLand first she turned into Lego and then all the rest of her family suddenly turned into Lego. Later she went back the next day and turned back human! They were all so happy and went to the Olive Garden to celebrate!

Specific- What are you going to do? I am going to leave my brothers alone, and ask them to leave me alone.

Measurable- What will be the signal my goal is achieved? The signal will be when my brothers and I get along.

Attainable- What specific plan will you follow? The plan to leave each other alone.

Realistic- What abilities and resources will you use to reach your goal? I will use my thinking abilities and I do not need resources.

Timely- When is your target date? A week in February.

Goal: Try to get at least 90% on a test

Today is the second post for S.M.A.R.T goals. If you don’t know what that stands for then check out my first S.M.A.R.T post. Let’s get started!

Specific- What do you want to accomplish? I want to accomplish getting a good score on a test

Measurable- What will be the signal that my goal is achieved? The signal will be when I get a test back and it has 90% or more on it.

Attainable- What specific plan will you follow? My plan is to study hard and try to get a good mark

Realistic- What abilities and resources will you use to reach your goal? I will use my studying abilities and I will use my notes, assignments, and my textbook for resources.

Timely- What is your target date for achieving your goal? Next time we have a test.

Today is all about S.M.A.R.T goals. If you don’t know what a S.M.A.R.T goal is it stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. So now I am going to show you my S.M.A.R.T goal

Specific- Why is this important? This is important to me because I want to use my blog more

Measurable- What will be the signal that your goal is achieved? When my posts are up and posted

Attainable- What specific plan will you follow? My plan is to do one to two posts a week.

Realistic- What abilities and resources will you use to reach your goal? I will use my writing ability and I will use a computer for resources.

Timely- When is your target date? February.

My New Years Resolutions are:

1. Use a different variety of vocabulary words in my writing
2. Use proper indentation in my writing
3. Blog more at home (SMART)
4. Try to get at least 90% on a test (SMART)
5. Get along with my brothers (not likely that is going to happen) (SMART)
6. Cook more at home
7. Keep my room clean for at least one and a half weeks
8. Try to sleep more on weekends (I wake up quite early)
9. Hand in assignments on time
10. Stay on task when I am working

Happy New Year! Today is all about things that I hope get invented this year. The first thing that I hope will get invented is a weightless backpack. Basically no matter how much stuff gets put in it will still be weightless. The second item that I hope will get invented is a lunch kit that you don’t have to pack any lunch. What you will have to do is use the screen on the front of the lunch kit, you type in what you want hot or cold, and it will come to you in a matter of seconds ( depending on what you ordered ). You can also order for any meal of the day, from any restaurant. The third item I hope will get invented is a mechanical pencil that never runs out of led for 2 months. Basically it just has long lasting led supply in the pencil. Now on to number four. The fourth thing I hope gets invented is self tying shoes. Really it is just a shoe that mechanically ties your laces. And now the final thing that I hope gets invented is…………  a backpack that packs itself ! You just have to put your things that you want to pack for school beside it and your backpack will pack it for you. What do you hope gets invented this year? Tell me in the comments. Some of my main interests are soccer, flag football, and volleyball.  First I am going to talk about soccer. I play for Eastside, Under 12 Division 3. Our team name is Eastside Edge. In my opinion we are pretty good. Some of my friends on the team are Luna, Shayla, Leonie, Tina, Tori, Keeana, Ciana, Grace and others. So far we have played in 1 tournament. We did ok for a Division 3 team. We lost 2 games and tied 1. Now moving on to flag football. My team name is Fusion. We are an all-girls team. Some of the girls on the team are Kat, Rachelle, Jessa, Emma, Brooke, and many others. We have recently played in a tournament in the summer. We did pretty good for an all-girls team against boys. Finally volleyball. I play for JCVC club but I do manly practices with my coach Reanne. Some of the girls on my “team” are Logan, Lacey, Bryn, and others. We have assistant coaches that have played JCVC. Through this journey of my physical interests, you have learned about my passion for soccer, flag football, and volleyball and how much I love these sports. The benefits of playing these sports are building friendships, getting physical activity, and using these skills when I am older.
